Accio: Causes an object to fly to the caster, even over quite some distance; the target object is said to have been Summoned. It would seem that the caster must know at least the general location of the object Summoned.
Aguamenti: Charm that conjures a fountain or jet of clear water from the caster's wand.
Alarte Ascendare: Shoots the target high into the air.
Alohomora: Charm that causes a locked door to open.
Anapneo: Spell that clears the target's airway, if blocked.
Anemoi: Creates a gust of wind from the caster's wand.
Anteoculatia: A hex which turns a person's hair into antlers.
Aparecium: Makes invisible ink become visible.
Avada Kedavra: Causes instant death in a flash of green light, usually leaving no sign of physical damage or of the cause of death that would be detectable to a Muggle autopsy.

Bombarda: Causes a small, locally contained explosion. To make a bigger explosion, one could use “bombarda maxima”
Babbling Curse: Although this spell is not fully understood, it is generally presumed to force a person to babble whenever they speak; it is possibly, for this reason, related to the Tongue-Tying Curse.
Baubillious: The exact effects of the spell are unknown, though it presumably is of damaging nature and it produces a bolt of white light from the tip of the wand.
Bedazzling Hex: Thouh the exact effects are unknown, based on the name (and the fact that it is used in conjunction with a chameleon charm on certain cloaks, it is probably used to conceal a person or object.
Brackium Emendo: If used correctly, it is claimed that this spell will heal broken bones.

Calvario: This spell causes the victim's hair to fall out.
Cantis: Causes the victim to burst uncontrollably into song.
Carpe Retractum: Produces a supernatural rope from the caster's wand, which will pull a target toward the caster.
Caterwauling Charm: Anyone entering the perimeter of this spell sets off a high-pitched shriek. This spell may be related to the Intruder Charm.
Cauldron to sieve: Transforms cauldrons, and presumably all pots and containers of that sort, into sieves.
Cave Inimicum: Defensive spell to keep enemies away.
Cheering Charm: Causes the person upon whom the spell is cast to become contented and happy, though heavy-handedness with it causes the victim to break into an uncontrollable laughing fit.

Colloportus: Seals a door, making an odd squelching noise.
Colloshoo: Adheres the victim's shoes to the ground with some sort of adhesive ectoplasm.

Conjunctivitis: Damages the eyesight of your opponent, making them seem to have pink eye
Cornflake skin spell: This spell causes the victim's skin to appear as though it was coated in cornflakes.
Crucio: One of the "Unforgivable Curses," this spell causes the victim to suffer almost intolerable pain. Some victims of prolonged use of this curse have been driven insane. A victim of this curse is said to have been Cruciated.
Cushioning Charm: Produces an invisible cushion over the target, is used primarily in the manufacturing of broomsticks.

Deletrius: Erases the ghost images of spells revealed by Priori Incantato. Possibly can be used to remove other spell effects as well.
Defodio: Digs through or hollows out the target.
Densaugeo: Causes the victim's teeth to enlarge grotesquely.

Entomorphis: This hex is used to transform the target into an insect for a short time.
Engorgio: Spell which causes the target to swell in size.
Episkey: Heals/repairs damage that has been inflicted on the target.
Epoximise: Adheres one object to another, similarly to if they had been glued together.

Fianto Duri: A defensive charm which, based on the etymology, strengthens shield spells, and perhaps objects in general, in a similar way to Duro.
Fidelius: Allows a secret to be hidden within the secret keeper’s soul; very powerful spell
Fiendfyre: Creates great spirits of fire which burn anything in its path, including nearly indistructable substances such as horcruxes. This fire is nearly impossible to control.
Finite: Stops a currently operating spell effect.
Finite Incantatem: Stops all currently operating spell effects.
Firestorm: Produces a ring of fire from the wand tip; can strike targets.
Flagrate: Creates a burning, fiery line in the air which can be "drawn" with the wand into specific shapes. The shape lingers for some time.
Flipendo: Also knows as the Knockback Jinx, pushes or flips something backwards. (Flipendo Duo and Flipendo Tria are more powerful versions of this spell)
